TESTIMONIALS

I always recall your name when I think about Oxford and landing up in academia in the future. I'm going to Berkeley for an LLM and I hope I can be as memorable to young students as you were to me.

— Sanidhya Rao, NLU Delhi (B.A. LLB. Hons), Berkeley, ex - Saikrishna & Associates

Teaching aids used by the instructor are really impressive and helpful in understanding the concepts better

Bharati TV, NLSIU Bengaluru (LLM)

I would recommend your course to those who are in the process of forming opinions about various career paths. I credit your course immensely for my eventual decision to practice law, and I cannot thank you enough.

— Nonit Nath, Jindal Global Law School, (BCom LL.B Hons)

I learn how you need to think contractually & from the point of the business and its market domain in order to make a mutually rewarding, legally sound and economically viable contract in the best interest of the client.
This course is a great way for a lawyer to think in a contractual, commercial and business way.

— Simarpreet Kaur, NLSIU Bengaluru (LLM)

My key takeaway from the course has been that every business/client will focus on a different set of clauses because of their business model. That's the first thing I think about whenever I am given a new assignment at work.

— Ashima Sharma, NLU Delhi (B.A. LLB. Hons), working at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas

The teaching style was “perfect!”

— Yashraj Sharma, UCLA (Economics)

Very interesting and Illustrative. Captivating teaching!

— Ipsita Pallavi Sahoo, NLU Delhi (B.A. LLB. Hons), working at Saraf and Partners.

After graduating from NLUD, I joined a law firm in the General Corporate Team. As a transactional lawyer, I had to constantly review different kinds of contracts. The course certainly helped in strengthening the first principles of contract drafting/reviewing and also equipped one to look at contracts from different perspectives.

— Swagat Dash, NLU Delhi (B.A. LLB. Hons), ex-Trilegal, working at Birla Global University Bhubaneswar

Comprehensive coverage of practical aspects of contracting (including relevant issues that are subject to negotiation between contracting parties), variety of contracts covered and coherent thinking pattern for drafting contracts. I found learning about the commercial considerations involved in contracting to be particularly useful in my working life.

— Jeetu Tolani, NLU Delhi (B.A. LLB. Hons), working at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas

Essentials of structuring business contracts, which we learnt through our course, helped me immensely while I was working with HCL Technologies. The course pedagogy gives exposure to various facets of drafting which are indispensable for any Corporate lawyer.

— Saral Khandelwal, NLU Delhi (B.A. LLB. Hons), worked with the Contract Closure (Legal) Team at HCL Technologies

Product innovation, NDAs and data privacy are all incredibly useful in my present work profile of litigating with respect to patents, copyright, trademarks and digital platforms. All of the course teaching gave me a sufficient foundation to build upon and help me wade through the florid intricacies of litigation.

— Sanidhya Rao, NLU Delhi (B.A. LLB. Hons), Berkeley, ex - Saikrishna & Associates

It involved knowledge of the mechanisms available under the contract law and an understanding of the business models of each sector. It involved knowledge of the mechanisms available under the contract law and an understanding of the business models of each sector.

— Abhishek Kumar, NLU Delhi (B.A. LLB. Hons)

I loved that your teaching style was very clear and based on practical examples that made the topics very easy to understand & also helped in understanding how the practical application of the course. Having done the course, I find it easier to review any contracts. In any kind of corporate job, any lawyer would come across a number of contracts. However, the mandatory courses in law school are often centred only on understanding the Indian Contract Act, 1872, and not on how contracts are practically written.

The course would equip one with solid foundations in knowing how to draft or review contracts.

— Akanksha Mathur, NLU Delhi (B.A. LLB. Hons), working at Trilegal

I have taken 2 courses offered by Ms Kritika that gave me insight into the practical aspects of legal issues in a contract and aided me in understanding how to tackle them. A course like this in one's under-graduation degree will be useful before one enters their professional life.

— Shreya Bhatnagar, NLU Delhi (B.A. LLB. Hons), working at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas

The course content was exhaustive and contained readings from reputed sources. Also, it was easy to read and nicely structured. Your course will be very helpful to young professionals, who want to improve their skills in the corporate or litigation sector.

Aashi Agarwal, NLSIU Bengaluru (LLM)

I enjoyed the novelty and innovation of the course.

— Waleed Nazir Latoo, NLU Delhi (B.A. LLB. Hons), working at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas

I think breaking down complicated concepts was particularly useful. Holistically the course helped me a lot.

— Kannan Jhunjhunwala, NLU Delhi (B.A. LLB. Hons) and Columbia University, ex-Trilegal

The most enjoyable bit about the course was the fact that the course managed to remain embedded in law at the core while broadening the horizons of the course-takers beyond law and into business and design. I would recommend this course to my juniors because, after the 2nd year of law school (in a 5-year course), we do not engage with any subjects other than core law which could lead to tunnel vision. I believe this course opens up the possibility to explore other avenues for students who do not want to limit themselves to learning in core law merely, for I read once that the best lawyers spend a good portion of their day reading non-legal material.

Satvik Chaudhary, NLU Delhi (B.A. LLB. Hons)

I found it quite useful to hear Ms Kritika analyse businesses and then use that to draft clauses.
She has an excellent idea of what kinds of practical skills students of today will need in the future when they enter the workplace.
She is also empathetic & friendly with all her students which is not a common personality trait amongst teachers. I strongly recommend her as a teacher.
I found her lessons on Drafting very useful because those are one of the skills I have been using at work. Thanks to her teaching I can be ahead of the game.

— Vinayak Sankaranarayanan, NLU Delhi (B.A. LLB. Hons), working at Economic Laws Practice (ELP)

Contract drafting happens to be a quintessential skill for lawyers, yet is often one that isn't taught in law schools. This course made it very easy to understand and implement practically.

— Akshita Rai, NLU Delhi (B.A. LLB. Hons)

I enjoyed the practical application of the principles of contract law in business and commerce across various industries. I liked the interactive approach & real-world problem-solving teaching style. This course helped me to increase my analytical skills and to use contracts as a versatile tool for providing innovative solutions for real-world client requirements

Akshay Kumar, NLSIU Bengaluru (LLM)

The course structure is really helpful if someone is planning on making a career in commercial law or even planning on studying these subjects further.
She would teach us about a particular topic in the course in the simplest and most relatable way possible. She is also very approachable with any doubts that one may have.

— Shubhankar Tiwari, NLU Delhi (B.A. LLB. Hons), working at J Sagar Associates

Discussions on Data Privacy were among my favourites in the entire course content.
The pedagogy was based upon interaction, making it feel like an interesting discussion rather than a lecture.
As I shifted my domain from law to management, e-commerce and sustainability became one of the primary areas where I have to work in. Having a legal backhand proves very useful in such situations.

— Geetansh Agarwal, NLU Delhi (B.A. LLB. Hons) and XLRI Jamshedpur.
